2nd Grade
As students start their 2nd-grade adventure at a new building, with new teachers, and new daily challenges. Our teachers look forward to all the unique characteristics students develop as they learn and grow to become more independent.
As our students work through 2nd grade, they develop habits in homework responsibilities and find they are able to concentrate longer. They develop close-knit friendships and start problem-solving on their own. Our teachers embrace being individuals and helping kids
We are excited to have our second grader's curiosity keep our teachers on their feet, and look forward to new experiences together!
3rd Grade
3rd grade is a time where our students take all the skills they have learned and start mastering them. As students grow older, they continue to learn skills in more complex situations.
Our third graders build strong social skills working together in group projects, and start sharing their opinions on things. Our teachers strive to create a fun learning environment and are excited to share a year of new experiences together.

4th Grade
When students walk through the doors into Cedar View, we are ready to help them grow in their education. 4th grade is an amazing year of learning, and our educators are ready to share this exciting year with students. Our students start to take on more complex social and academic skills, and our team is here to help them learn and answer questions along the way.
4th grade can be a challenging year for many students. Academics become more challenging and new skills are learned. There are changes in friendships, social skills, and overall small things that can feel stressful for our students. Together we work to give them the best education, feel prepared, and help them work through questions they have as they continue to grow into wonderful young adults.
5th Grade
5th Grade is a BIG deal. It is the last stop before our students start the transition into middle school. Our teachers are here ready for all the questions within academics, and also social skills.
We know during 5th-grade friendships change, homework becomes more important, and tests become harder. Things can be a little stressful with the many changes, but we are here ready to help your child excel, grow and be ready to move onto the 6th grade!
